The Zagreb 3.25" Ebonised pieces are handcrafted from high-grade boxwood and polished to a very high standard. To achieve a rich, deep black, the black pieces have been ebonised to get the luxurious looks of highly appreciated ebony wood without its hefty price tag. But the real beauty of the pieces arises from the colour contrast: The three tallest figures have their top decorated in the opposite colour, and this contrast makes for a great eye catcher when this set is on display. The king measures 3.25" in height, is doubly weighted and weighs approximately 36g.

Fitting to the pieces is this gorgeous wooden 45mm board, with its squares made from sycamore and exotic wenge wood. Although it is a veneer board, it still boasts great looks while keeping its price and weight low. Its squares measure 45mm in size.
