Walnut / Sycamore Veneer, 50mm

Nice pieces deserve a nice board of course and our Walnut 50mm board is just that. Walnut is a rather dark and patterned wood and this gives it a beautiful touch. One might think that veneer boards are no good, but this board will prove disbelievers otherwise. It has gorgeous looks and the weight is just where it should be: Not too heavy for being moved from one place to an other, yet it has enough weight to stay firmly in place.

In terms of dimensions, the board measures 48 x 48 cm with a thickness of 14mm (that's nearly 19 x 19in and a bit over half an inch thick). On the scale, it puts a good 2.5kg on. With a square size of 50mm it is ideal for king's with a base diameter of around 40mm (or around 1.5in).
